How it works:

Add your Property

The process takes just a few minutes. When added you can manage your property's certificates, inventory, additional charges and custom clauses.

Get Verified

In order to comply with KYC (Know Your Customers) regulations and legal tenancy compliance we need to prove you have the right to rent property. The process takes a few minutes to complete.

Create a Tenancy

Once verified, you can create a tenancy. Add details of your tenants, the terms and duration. Our platform will get started creating agreements, scheduling events and creating links for your tenants.

Create and Sign your Tenancy Agreement

View a demonstration of your agreement in our Tenancy Tasks Manager. When you're happy with it, send it out for signatures. Emails will be sent to everyone in the tenancy group for Advanced Electronic Signing.

Tenant Payments

Propa leverages Open Banking to provide you and your tenants the easiest way to make large interbank payments. It connects to your mobile banking app to initiate payments valuing from £100 to £100,000.

Link your Tenants

Give your tenants the best way to view what's going on in their tenancy. When they've linked they'll have access to all of the necessary legal documents and certificates, a place to pay their deposit and setup a standing order and a communication channel for any issues that prop up during their tenancy.

Deposit Protection

We partner with TDS (TDS Custodial Ltd) to provide compliant and automated tenancy deposit management. Registering and protecting the deposit takes minutes without the hassle of re-entering property, tenancy and tenant details. TDS are one of 3 government authorised tenancy deposit schemes in the UK.

Reminders and Notices

We use a mix of email and push notifications to keep everyone aware of their tenancy situation. Emails are automatically sent when payments are due and on key tenancy dates.

How long does it take to get my account verified?


Verification of our landlords is an essential part of our service. It usually takes our team a few hours to complete. However at busy times it can take up to 48 hours.

Are Advanced Electronically Signed agreements legally binding?


Short answer, yes. Propa makes use of Advanced Electronic Signatures where 2FA (Two factor authentication) is required in all agreements. Our signing process complies with the 2000 U.S. Electronic Signature in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN), Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) and European Union eIDAS (Electronic Signing).

Electronic signatures have been used for around 2 decades and are a common way to sign a tenancy agreement.

How does my subscription change when I add a property?


We charge you on the number of properties in your portfolio in that given month. For example if you have two properties in your portfolio then you will be charged £4.00 that month.

Is there a limit on the amount of properties I can have?


There is no limit.

Is there a fee for interbank payments of deposit and rent?


We do not charge a fee for processing interbank payments through our partner Plaid.

Will I be able to preview the tenancy agreement before it's sent to tenants?


Yes, you are able see a demonstration version of the exact agreement that would be sent to tenants in Tenancy > Tasks > Tenancy Agreement.
